Almost everybody wants a flat stomach. Men and women, teenagers and even children are not left out of this fad. The importance of having a flat stomach cannot be overruled because your torso will look attractive just as your health will be optimized. 1. Crunches – Crunches are exercises that you can do to strengthen the stomach muscles. You can lie on your back and try to raise your head and shoulder towards your bent knees. The position of your knee should be fixed and you can use your hands to support the back of your head. By doing crunches as many times as possible, your stomach muscles will tone up and get burn up fats on them.

2. Work out – If you can carry out at least a 45 minutes intensive workout in a gym every day then you will doubt, burn up fats in your body and as blood circulates around your body.

3. Exercise ball – It is very effective when you do crunches with exercise balls. This exercise will not only strengthen your abs but also strengthen the muscles around your hips. Ask a professional body trainer to instruct you on how to position the ball very well for muscle tone.

4. Aviod junk foods – While you seek to get flat stomach, you need to watch what you eat. Junk foods - which are those foods that have undergone some processes - should be avoided. These foods would add unwanted fats to your body and could make your stomach to look flabby.

5. Eat healthy foods – While junk foods should be done away with, foods like vegetables, fruits, nuts, lean meat and whole grains should be taken because they contain antioxidant properties that will remove unwanted fats from your body.

6. Aerobic exercises – Exercises like horse ridding, walking, jogging, swimming, surfing etc should be encouraged because they help to rev up your metabolism and remove fats from your stomach and every other part of your body.
